Header and footer pack for Elementor (free)
===========================================

What is inside
header-block.json A site name, four links and a button in one row.
footer-block.json Three columns (about, pages, contact) and a copyright line.

Both are saved as Container templates. They use only free widgets: Heading,
Text Editor, Icon List, Button and Divider. There is no Nav Menu widget,
because that one needs Elementor Pro. The links are an Icon List.

Before you start
Containers must be active. They are on by default for new Elementor sites.
On an older site, go to Elementor > Settings > Features and set Container
  to Active.

How to import
  1. In WordPress, go to Templates > Saved Templates.
  2. Click Import Templates at the top of the page.
  3. Choose header-block.json or footer-block.json and click Import Now.
Repeat for the second file. Unzip this pack first.
Importing the zip itself only works if Elementor > Settings > Advanced >
"Enable Unfiltered File Uploads" is turned on. Importing the two json
files one at a time works with the default settings.
  4. The two templates appear in the list as "Header block (nvudev.com)"
     and "Footer block (nvudev.com)".

How to use them in a page
  1. Edit a page with Elementor.
  2. Click the folder icon in the empty area to open the template library,
open the My Templates tab, and click Insert on the header block.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and add the footer block the same way.
  4. Repeat on each page, or build one page and duplicate it.

Make them yours
  - Replace "Your Site Name", the links, the email, the phone number and the city.
  - Link targets such as #about and #contact are placeholders. Point them to
    your real pages.
  - Colors are set on the container and on each widget. Click an element and
change the color in the Style tab.

Site wide use
The free plugin has no Theme Builder, so a block only appears on the pages
where you insert it. Elementor Pro includes a Theme Builder (Templates >
Theme Builder) where you can create a Header and a Footer and apply them to
the whole site. Build them from these blocks by inserting a block into a
  new Header or Footer template.
